In July, my lovely and talented spouse,Judy Chovan, exhibited 25 photographs she had taken on her many trips around the world. The exhibit was in the San Juan Community Theatre and opened to rave reviews for the insight they provided on people and iconic images in many, many countries.

I am proud to display those 25 images here.

The following is Judy’s Artist Statement that accompanied the exhibition.

“I have had the good fortune to travel extensively around the world to some of the more remote, impoverished, and/or war-torn countries including the so-called ‘Axis of Evil’. What I have learned confirms my view of our shared humanity – in that we all want the same things: peace, good health, nutritious food, a better world for our children, etc… Whilst I have taken more than 100,000 photos, I do not consider myself a photographer or an artist – just lucky to have been in the right place at the right time to capture these images. Given the sheer number of photos that I have taken, at some point some were bound to be print-worthy.”
