Braving the cold and wind, I spent a December week in Jackson Wyoming photographing the amazing Teton Range along with the sheep, moose and elk.  I was there with Matt Seuss and a few other like minded photographers.  

Because the early winter had been mild most of the elk were still up at the higher elevations but we were lucky to see two herds, one in the late afternoon and the second early the next morning.  The moose and sheep were plentiful and we were able to “hang” with them on several occasions. A highlight was to stand at the same spot as Ansel Adams when he photographed the Snake River in 1942.
